Committee on Education

Workshops

The Workshop on Education alternates between two types of sessions:

1.  Methodology and
2.  New Findings in Education

The Methodology sessions will focus on methodological problem-solving and works in progress for individuals seeking guidance on methodological problems.  The New Findings in Education section functions as a typical University of Chicago workshop with detailed discussions regarding student and faculty papers.  Open discussion is encouraged after each workshop.  For additional questions and upcoming workshop schedules go to http://cas.uchicago.edu/workshops/edu or contact workshop coordinator, Chloe Hutchinson at chloeh@uchicago.edu.   Diane Whitmore-Schanzenbach and Stephen Raudenbush are faculty representatives.   Information regarding research in education at the University of Chicago may be accessed throught the Committee on Education website.

During the spring term, the Workshop on Education will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm in the HINDS Laboratory for Geophysical Sciences Building, Lecture Hall Room 101.  The HINDS building is located just north of the university bookstore at 5734 South Ellis Avenue.  Please join us throughout the Spring Quarter.
